Either Way We Win

I have felt disappointment before

But this one cuts deep

How could you?

Where is your resolve?

Are you that weakhearted?

Is power more important that standing by your beliefs?

I think the … not

I pray you will start to see the bigger picture

Either way she wins and we win

She fought long and hard

Coy, witty and superbly intelligent

A little too subtle for my taste

But powerful nonetheless

She lost many battles to win this war

and as a soldier on the sideline

I cannot hold a sword

Like many well thinking foreigners, we stand by you

And above all, in humility.

“Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.”

– Proverbs 16:18

I would hope history predicts a revolution...It only reminds me of the Jamaican  2016 General Elections.
